In accordance with various state and federal laws, Ouray Software, LLC provides the following privacy statement which explains how we collect information and what we do with it. This statement may be updated from time to time.

Collected Information

Depending on what services you use at this site, we will collect your name, physical mailing address, phone number, email address, and IP address, as well as other information as listed in the next section.

We may send you email regarding a particular request, or to notify you of new features at our site. In the case of the latter you may opt out at any time

Renewal and Billing System

Continued use of our product requires that you renew your license periodically. This renewal sends us various information about your usage of OurayCM such as computer-specific identification including the host ID, hardware identifiers, operating system, user numbers (not names or initials), date and time of use, time of last renewal, etc. It also sends the billing contact information you had entered, which includes your physical address and phone number.

WE OF COURSE DO NOT SEND ANY OF YOUR ACTUAL SOURCE. The only information sent that represents your source is a top-level md5 sum of your source hierarchy. All of the information sent as part of the renewal process is in plain text except for a small security key, so you can see for yourself what is to be sent.

Cookies

Our site does not use cookies.

Shared Information

We never voluntarily disclose your information to third parties, except as a statistical average across all users (e.g., we may disclose the fact that 60% of our customers use Windows).

IP Address

If you attempt to download our products, we collect your IP address in order to verify what country you are in. This is in order to comply with US government export restriction laws.

Newsletter

At your request we may send you news announcements from time to time. You can opt out at any time.

General

Ouray Software cannot guarantee that the information you give us is totally safe. Technical problems beyond our control, thieves and hackers, or goverment regulations may make the information accessible to other parties.

If Ouray Software, LLC is sold or subject to bankruptcy proceedings, the law may require that your private information be transferred to new parties.
